This is Modern Hobbies owner Greg Williams' Italeri
1/72nd scale F/A-18C depicting a USMC bird from
VMFA-451 based at Shaikh Isa Air Base, Saudi Arabia
during "Desert Storm" 1991.
Greg applied custom made markings from his computer,
re-worked the ordnance and installed a resin US Navy
SJU-5/6 ejection seat to spruce-up the kit.

This is Modern Hobbies owner Greg Williams' Italeri

New Model Building Service!
Happy New Year!
Modern Hobbies is now building 1/72nd and 1/48th scale modern military aircraft on commission! Are you in
need to have your favorite model aircraft subject built for a gift for friends, family, military member or squadron,
or your own private collection? Modern Hobbies can assist you! For a small commission, MH’s very own Greg
Williams will build your scale model aircraft to high standards featuring a custom resin display base and polished
brass in-flight stand. Check out the Commissions page on the navigation bar above for more information!
Trouble with delivery times...solved
Since our re-launch of Modern Hobbies, some customers have experienced late delivery of their packages. This
is unacceptable to us and I have been monitoring the situation very closely. I have been using a new shipper
(USPS) for our shipping needs and I have identified that the hold up has been packages being held up at the
post office, and or customs delays for our international orders. I have spoke to our local branch here in
Indianapolis, and set up in-house parcel labeling, handling, customs forms preparation and set up USPS
pickups. Now the only handling USPS will provide is shipping your package to you, my valued customers. Like I
said in the beginning, your satisfaction is priority one. If your packages have been delayed, I will do whatever I
can to resolve and compensate you for your inconvenience. I appreciate your continued business, loyalty and
patience as we continue to iron out the rough patches. Thanks!

As many of you remember, I had several items on the bench due to be released, such as the following:
1. GBU-31(V)3/B JDAM *BLU-109 Penetrator
2. A-10C cockpit set
3. GRU-7A Ejection Seats (F-14A-B)
*All these items are still in the cue and I am making molds for release!

HUDS! Yep, you read it right..HUDS in 1/72 resin! I'm making a series of HUDS (Head-Up-Display) resin sets for
the following popular aircraft: F-117A, F-15C, F-16, F/A-18 (family), and A-10! Sets will include HUD frames,
template for simulated glass and instructions, plus a scratch-building tip from yours truly to make your 1/72nd
scale office look like it should! Below is a pic of an F-117 I'm building at present, featuring the F-117 HUD. It
also features a completely scratch-build cockpit, MH resin ACES II seat and will be piloted by one of my MH 1970-
1980's modern Pilots! Tell me what you think at my blog "The Ready Room." Your comments and suggestions
are welcome as always!
