This is Modern Hobbies owner Greg Williams' Italeri
1/72nd scale F/A-18C depicting a USMC bird from
VMFA-451 based at Shaikh Isa Air Base, Saudi Arabia
during "Desert Storm" 1991.
Greg applied custom made markings from his computer,
re-worked the ordnance and installed a resin US Navy
SJU-5/6 ejection seat to spruce-up the kit.

Closing the hangar...
Modern Hobbies customers,
In last several months you have experienced a non-receipt of your items after placing an order with us. You
may have also experienced slow delivery and long or no response from us after making an inquiry about your
order via email. I acknowledge that this is not satisfactory business, nor is it in keeping with prior good service
that many customers are used to with Modern Hobbies. This failure on our part is due to personal family and
business reasons that have arisen in recent months which have required my full attention, devotion and have
taken priority.
*Modern Hobbies is not experiencing any financial difficulties, tax problems or lawsuits. If desired Modern
Hobbies can resume operations immediately.
As a result, I have made the decision to close Modern Hobbies operations until such time as I can take care of
these matters, re-organize my business and re-launch to insure smooth, uninterrupted operation. This is what
customers deserve and expect and is something that I believe in to earn and maintain customer satisfaction.
This is and has always been my highest priority for my customers.
If you have outstanding orders that you have paid for and products have not been delivered, I will be refunding
these customer orders via PayPaI. Please do not place any new orders on our website or by mail, as we will not
be accepting new orders at this time until re-opening in the future.
I want like to thank all of you, my loyal customers, fans, fellow modelers and friends that have made Modern
Hobbies a success in the past 4 years. I look forward to providing you with rare, high quality resin accessories
in the future. In the mean time, I will be modeling, creating new products and contributing to the hobby via,
Finescale Modeler Magazine, Zone Five, ARC, and numerous other scale modeling online venues.
